Sixty-something entrepreneur living in Staffordshire. Two grown children, a grandson and the dream of a gentler life.

In a past life, I worked as a police officer, the latter part as a detective in the inner city of Birmingham, one of the most cosmopolitan and challenging cities for policing in the UK.

My twenty plus year research project into neuroscience brings the Maximum Happiness and Wellness Course of book and video sessions onto these pages.

My police career provided me with countless sad, scary, humorous and tragic experiences and memories. I wouldn’t swap a minute of them. Each broadened my perception and perspective of the human condition.  

The latter years serving as a detective at a busy City station, informed my depiction of an organized crime gang, their atrocities and the danger filled consequences for Valentina, the main protagonist in my first foray into writing crime fiction and romantic suspense novels, .summarised on these pages.

In what little spare time I do have, I’m an avid photographer and keen family historian. My biggest shock was discovering my great grandfather was one of the original ‘Peaky Blinders’. If they knew that when I applied, my police career would have stumbled before it started!
